Tom Brenna:
 

Tom Brenna conducts research and gives lectures on fatty acid nutrition sponsored by private companies involved in the development, manufacture, and sale of nutritional products and their fat components.

Calder, Philip:

I currently have no research funding from industry but in the past I have received funding from Unilever and from Pronova. I receive speaking fees from Solvay Healthcare, B. Braun Melsungen, Fresenius Kabi and Baxter Healthcare. I am a consultant for Vifor Pharma, Mead Johnson Nutritionals, and Danone Research Centre for Specialised Nutrition
 
 Carlson,Susan: 
 
 Susan E. Carlson is a member of an advisory board and has given talks for companies that make products for pregnant and lactating women and for infants and children that contain DHA and ARA.
 
Kim, Hee-Yong:
 
No conflicts of interest.
   
Lagarde,Michel:
Michel Lagarde has been consulted by companies that market  fatty  acid-based nutrients.
 
Koletzko, Berthold:
Berthold Koletzko and his research group have been involved in scientific collaborations with Abbott, Ardeypharm, Baxter, B. Braun, Biovitrum, Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, Cognis, Dairy Goat Cooperative, Danone, Fresenius-Kabi, Fronterra, JHeimbach LLC, Hipp, Martek, Merck Selbstmedikation, Nestlé, Orafti, Ordesa, Pharmaton, Unilever, Vifor, and Wyeth, in part through European Commission funded research projects. 

Rice, Ray:

Ray Rice is retained as an adviser to Seven Seas Ltd, and the Seafish Industy Authority.

Salem, Norman:

Dr. Norman Salem, Jr is an employee of Martek Biosciences Corporation, a company whose main business is the manufacture and sale of essential fatty acids such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA).  Martek sells fatty acids to makers of infant formulas, to food and beverage companies and also makes products for the supplement market.

Visioli, Francesco:

Francesco Visioli consults for NBF Lanes, which markets fatty acid-based nutraceuticals.

Von Schacky, Clemens:

 My research in the omega-3 fatty acid field has been funded by government agencies and research foundations, other research by a large number of pharmaceutical companies. I give talks for Solvay and other companies marketing Omega-3 fatty acid containing products in several countries. In January 2007, I founded Omegametrix in Martinsried, close to Munich, Germany. This company offers the measurement of blood fatty acid levels, in order to make standardized assessment of the omega-3 index available to researchers, clinicians and the general population.
